European Commission Report on the Benefits of the Paediatric Regulation

The Paediatric Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1901/2006) provides incentives and rewards to companies that have undertaken research into, and the development and authorisation of pharmaceuticals for children. This report has been prepared by the Paediatric Medicines Section at the EMA and compiles information submitted by member states, including the UK. The report shows that companies and products are beginning to benefit from its rewards and incentives three years after the Regulation came into force.
