The aims of this event are:
• To help RECs review children’s research
• To give researchers insight into the ethical issues considered by RECs when reviewing a children’s research application.
• To help researchers anticipate the ethical concerns RECs may raise about proposed research methodology in this area.
• To help researchers complete children’s research ethics documentation properly, including the application form and
patient/participant information sheets
• For RECs and researchers to share their views of children’s research
